Methodist missionary and author; served as Chief Archivist of the Methodist Church of Canada; worked among Blood Indians, near Fort Macleod, 1880-1889; stationed at Moose Jaw, 1889-1892; at various churches in Manitoba, 1895-1928; during his stay in Northwest Territories, served as school inspector and on Board of Education (Morgan, Canadian men and women of the time , 1912; United Church of Canada.
