Description
Three editions of the Nehalem Valley High School's student paper title "The Senior Weakly." We only have editions 1 (September 21, 1928), 4 (October 26, 1928), & 5 (December 11, 1928). Editions 4 & 5 have a slightly new title: "The Senior Too Weakly." All editions have the tagline: "Entered in Jewell Post Office as Worst Class Matter now in Circulation." Each edition begins with a list of students who make up the paper's staff, usually with funny nicknames. Then there is an article about a current, local event, followed by school news, and always a few jokes at the end. Nehalem Valley High School is the precursor to Jewell High School, and was also called Union High School #3.
